Damage Reflection Question

Ive seen lots of games with damage reflection. I'm just wondering if the damage that is reflected from you (example being Trance of Empathy) is fully reflected, or if you take all the damage, but the monster takes a certain percentage of of the damage too.

Hope this is understandable

From my experience (though it is a bit hard to tell in truth) the dmg reflect from ToE works much in the way that Paladins "thorns aura" worked in Diablo 2. You still take the damage, but it "feels" to me like you are only taking the 40%, of course that could be offset by the life leech as well.

Just know that ToE does take monsters down pretty quick and when you get swarmed just throw a "Distort reality" out there to stun them all and watch them die. "Distort reality with a maxed out "temporal rift" is the best skill in the game IMO.

Reflection damage not only reflects damage off of you from a certain percentage (I.E. if a monster does 100 points of damage and you have Reflection 40%, 40 of that damage is reflected) but it applies back to the monster in question.

I don't remember if it exists in TQ, but Deflection on the other hand is like Reflection but monsters take no reflected damage.
