I like playing Hunter as I prefer Archery, and I usually choose Storm Mastery as my 2nd School. I have never played past LVL 50 though.
Any thoughts? hints? Strategy for the best bow hunter?

Have you ever considered that the sole reason for your existance is to merely serve as a warning to others?
Ranger or Haruspex.
Ranger: Insane health boosts + reduced mana costs (if you pop a point + skills) + elemental resists = Heart of Oak. Some wolf friends to draw the heat and buff you with SoP which will increase bow damage. Refresh allows you to keep Call of the Hunt (and synergy) up the whole game almost. Usual Hunting skills for bowhunter: art of hunt/findcover/trailblazing, marksmanship line (to kill mobs ala scattershot and shoot offscreen = marksmanship), Wood lore. Study Prey for bosses. Herbal Lore to boost poison resist.
Haruspex: 2 of the strongest masteries. Become practically immune to projectiles. I don't know the details of this one but over 60 AP is big. Can be bow or spear.

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
