Yea so i just started playing it for maybe 5 hours now. Really awesome game. But i did find a few items that i can't yet use. Am i to lug them around until i can? Or is there a stash system like Diablo 2?
Searched around on here for any references but couldnt find one.

Not in the original no. And installing immortal throne will have absolutely no effect on the original campaign of your character. It's not a new game, it's an addition to the old game.
