Arcane Formula help

Where can I buy Arcane Formula, if I can't where is best place to farm them?

Unfortunately you can't buy them, and farming for them is impossible as all locations grant an equal amount of Arcane Formula Drop-chance.

However, there are some Act 5 quests which reward you with Arcane Formula if I remember correctly. Check the TQ database here to find out which ones.

That is not true that all areas grant equal chance of artifact. Depends what difficulty and what act. I suggest searching titanquest.net since this forum does not allow threads that discuss locations of items

There is a thread on titanquest.net where they have used the artmanager to reveal where to farm for artifacts.

Umm, yes it is. The percentage based on the area is always the same, it only changes when your character levels up. I went on a Telkine farming run from Act 1, Normal difficulty and I found a greater arcane formulae on the telkine. Normally you wouldn't find greater Artifacts or Arcane Formulae until act 5 to Epic difficulty.

check out titanquest.net. There is a sticky on the immortal throne spoilers section. Its not just dependent on your character level. Try and see how many symbol of polymath you get with a level 75 character farming normal. = none.

From titanquest .net you can see that greater formula do drop in normal mode. Yes you can find them your first run through normal. Only the ones listed will drop. You will not find the epic and legendaries in normal no matter how high level your character.

There is more information on the site if you are interested. There is also information about item drops somewhere...

Okay, if that's true, explain to me how I obtained the Dragontongue formula from Normal Act 1's Telkine.

Well I'm not going to tell you that you didn't find it. I really don't want to get into something like that. But if anyone else is interested in finding information about item farming I would recommend a different forum. Because this one its locked down. That much is true.
