My friend and I have recently purchased DS2 & BW in the hopes of playing it through together over the lan, and I've run into a bit of a snag that is really quite devastating.
We've managed to proceed through the game about a quarter of the way into act 2 and reached about level 27 when we proceed to call it for the night, I save the game as always. The next day I come back to find my character is only level 19 but my friends is 27... After searching around on the net for a while, unable to really find any straight answer, we decided to restart from scratch only tonight the same problem has arroused, and I saved the game 4 times to be sure. We had just reached act 2, characters are level 23 and yet mine now says its level 17 while my friends is right.
Does anyone know anything about this? I've found a few mentions around the net but nothing to fix the problem or even if it can be done. I really hope I can get my characters back, because if I can't it'll probably mean quits for us
