Help with Finala's Contempt

when i reached the abandoned ruins in the southern greilyn jungle finala open the door but beyond the door there is no room. just black space. please tell me what has happened and if i can fix it.

If you do a search on "black door" you'll see that other people have had this problem, but unfortunately nobody has ever posted a solution. So you might be stuck.
