Computer requirements

Post by DarthBob »

Hey every one! I could really use some advice here :)

I'm not really a big PC game fan but when I heard about this new MMO I really wanted to have it.

Just so I'm prepared does anyone know what I could do for my system so that it doesnt crash? I know the games a long way off but Id really prefer to prepare the computer now instead of later?

Anything I could upgrade?

Anything I could delete?

Anything I could install?

Thanks a bunch everyone!

firstly, Bob, we'd have to know your current system specs to have any idea what to upgrade.

secondly, like you said, the game's a long way off, so it's hard for anyone to know what you might need to run it. i upgraded from my crappy 37GB PC to almost 600GB, and upgraded god knows what else (my bro bought the crap and put it all together for me. lucky me :P ) and since that upgrade, i haven't had any opportunities to test out any MMOs, so i honestly couldn't say.

finally, doubt you'd need to install ANYTHING apart from the game itself. as for deleting stuff: unless your PC is jam-packed with crap you don't need or don't use, and that stuff is taking up much needed space, don't bother deleting anything

i know it didn't help much, but hopefully it's a start :)
