Broken World Problems

Post by Xzeihoranth »

I have successfully installed DS2 on a new computer (no voices...error installing that file every time..but I don't care...music playlist FTW)

I place BW in, click "install"...and nothing happens. I right click the icon and click explore, open the autoplay...nothing happens.

Why can I not install BW? (I'm about to reach the level 20 cap for skills and I soo want to be able to go over soon)

You mentioned a "new computer" in your first post. Does that mean everything was working on a different computer? Since it sounds like neither game installed properly, the problem might be with your computer rather than the games.

Have you tried to run the ds2x_setup.exe on the CD ?

Yes I tried doing that. I get the busy mouse-icon forever.
And yes everything worked fine before I moved, the DS2 is now reinstalled and my voice.ds2res is fixed. Still no BW :(
BW is so much better with the skills :(

Must be something else, have you tried to disable your anti-virus before installing ? Checking a 650MB exe file from a CD can take time. Try copying the the file to your HD and run it from there.
Btw what is your OS ?
