Hey all,
I'm having a problem with leap attack.
Namely: It is bugged.
Sometimes (quite often) my barb will refuse to leap attack. This happens after my barb does a failed leap attack. Meaning I order him to leap to a monster, and instead, he only leaps upwards, and lands again on the same spot. A spot crowded with enemies.
Ive done a few google searches, and I read some fora about how this bug is unrepairable, but it doesnt happen often. Well, with me it does.. really.. a lot of times. And the fora are usually really outdated (2004 or so)
So does anybody here know how to prevent this bug? Or how to repair it?
I'm using the latest version of the game.

Unfortunately i think you are out of luck. As far as I know there is no way to fix this. I try to work around it by not attempting to leap if it is doubtful that it will work, but plenty of lag might make such judgments pointless.
Something that can be handy to remember is that you can still leap if you have failed a leap attack and vice versa. This often enables me to keep playing until the next waypoint or bosskill or whatever I was doing, so I can rejoin the game without loosing too much time.
