Dwarves in DS/BW

Hi.

I was just wondering, if you play DSII through the BW Addon (the first three acts before getting to BW) is there a way to recruite a dwarf somewhere? I mean, although you don't play the addon world you still have all the BW features like Blood Assassin and Fist of Stone class. I started as an elf and have Taar with me and was just wondering if there is any dwarves for recruiting before getting to BW... I'm at Windstone Fortress so far but haven't come across a dwarf yet.

Broken World doesn't change anything in the original campaign, so you'll have to wait until you get to the new lands to recruit a dwarf.

Well, like I said, it does add the extra armor and abilities... but no recruits, hm? That's too bad...

Yoren's the only dwarf recruit. The only other way to get one in your party is to create one as the main char.
