ideas for multiclassing Sand

Post by arryjan »

I wanna add Sand to my party but I reckon he's too weak as a pure wizard, having played the game a few times, he just dies too quickly for my likening(not enough HP) despite the fact I gave him all sorts of protection and kept him at the back. would he be a good arcane trickster or arcane archer for instance?
if so, please help me with the multiclass build, much appreciated. :)

Can I take the liberty of assuming that you are going to use a save-game editor or a mod to alter Sand's class? Because I don't recall being able to multiclass companions in NWN2.

It may be safe to assume that mods/ editors are being used, since it isn't possible to alter any companion in the vanilla game.

Well, not *technically* true. :p

Khelgar can be class changed to a Monk via the plot-line.

Further, you can make level-up alterations *other* than class structure.. (feats, skills, attributes, etc..).

Frankly I though Sand was one of the most powerful characters in-game. (..but he is tougher to play, as is any purist Wizard.) SCRIBE THOSE SCROLLS, and CRAFT THOSE WANDS!

Yeah. As long as he doesn't get targeted during battles, he can dish out enough damage to account for two rouges of the same level, well, figuratively speaking.
