Repairing Dogmeat Injuries *Spoilers

Post by sonny »

I've gotten a little used to having this dog around. :)
Anyway I noticed he was running away from battle and returning when it was over. Checked him out and it says his HP's are normal but he has crippled legs.
Any way I can fix this?
Have tried both First Aid and Doctor skills, but it has not worked.

Sonny :) :)
They turned me loose from the nervous hospital. Said I was well.

Doctor skill should do it. I don't remember if the item was already in Fallout 1, but a Doctor's Bag will help.

There are indeed, doctor's bags in FO1. Might be rare though.

Probably it takes couple of tries to heal the crippled legs, depending on your skills.

Thanks guys for the help. I do have a doctors bag, got it in Shady Sands I think. Forgot I had it because I had put it in a bag that Tycho was carrying. :o
After about 4-5 tries was able to fix Dogmeat's legs :)

You know when I first started playing this game I was really frustrated and almost stopped a couple of times. But the more I got use to the controls it kind of grew on me, and now I'm really enjoying the game.
Is Fallout 2 as good or better?

Thanks
Sonny :) :)

In my opinion, Fallout 2 is even better.

That's great to know. I can get it fully patched from GOG's

For later replays, you may also want to look into some of the restoration packs as well.
