Unofficial Patch 6.4 released!
I've got a bug to report, since it's about a quest I'll put it as a spoiler, just in case. Also, I haven't searched the topic, maybe someone already mentioned it.
And a small question, the Protean level 5 model of some bat-like creature that is the same as the Sabbat idiots you encounter in the Hallowbrook Hotel, was it added in the unofficial patch or is it original content? Because, there are some issues with it that I don't like (e.g. not having an animation for jumping out of Grout's mansion window). I'm asking because I'd like to remove it (if at all possible) not only because of the already mentioned reason but while roleplaying it makes more sense that a neonate vampire only grows claws, at least to me.
Spoiler
After getting the Library Card for Mitnick, even though I read the mail and collected my reward, the quest still remained active in my journal. I've had similar bugs before and it's really not a big deal, but I felt the need to write it down. Oh yeah, another thing, I put in the mailbox simultaneously the last item Gary wanted for the poster quest with the card, don't know if it matters.

The Protean 5 Warform is original content, though I wouldn't know why it doesn't have an animation for jumping out of Grout's Mansion. It makes sense for the Protean 5 to be a shape such as it is to an extent, although in PnP it's a lot different, as it is with most of the Disciplines, because there are things that can't be done in video games. Normally Protean 5 would be turning into Mist, while Protean 4 would allow a Gangrel to shape into a Fight and Flight form, Fight forms usually being wolves and Flight forms usually being Bats. Protean 3 is "Earth Meld" where a Gangrel can submerge themselves in the Earth and sleep during the Day. Protean 2 and 1 are the same as in the game, Claws and Heat sensing Eyes respectively.
I had a quick question for anyone else who's used the 6.4 plus patch. I've noticed the last two times i've played, coincidentally both games have been played after I installed the 6.4 plus patch, that chairs and other ramdom objects have been appearing in some very strange places.
Things like chairs, PC towers, couches, speakers, etc. would be floating in mid air and appear inside the fish tank in your apartment or block off the computer. This mainly happened in your apartment in the Skyline Apartments until I entered the internet cafe in Hollywood and there where about a dozen office chairs comng out of the walls and roof and laying over the computers.
Is this an issue with the patch or one that someone else has encountered or is my game just being temperamental.

Nope, no other mods. I'll give that a go and see if it works. Thanks.rudiger24 wrote:evilmunky, are you using any other mods? I ask because I experienced this bug a lot when I used the pnpmod. The quick workaround is to save your game (F9) and then reload the saved game (F12 or press ESC and use the menus).

I encountered same issue in Skyline, but more intense. almost all props inside the building have been turned into pc-stations, once into quite big desks (the buttons in the elevator too) and still i have problem that some buttons activate when i search for them in the top of elevator doors and there are few that are in lower part of them, not on the elevator console, of course.evilmunky wrote:I had a quick question for anyone else who's used the 6.4 plus patch. I am not sure if that's an effect of the Patch itself or just an inteference with other mods i got.
P.S.: Sometimes when i'm playing too long props on the streets are changing too, like a road sign standing out of ground where there should be a trash bin or just a bottle.

I've never found the grenade either.
The Dragon's Breath is a shotgun that fires phosphorous rounds, which deal damage overtime to vampires.

Wesp, I do have a couple of suggestions, more like possibilities, for the next patch. The ideas are adding to the patch maybe a high resolution packages, as an option to install, and maybe some other things, with those artists permission to add them.

I won't do this because these mods can easily be applied on top on my patch.Sir Twist wrote:Wesp, I do have a couple of suggestions, more like possibilities, for the next patch.
