Odd did you accidentally use an area spell? Pick pocket/steal from someone you shouldn't have? Released a monster (the lich) and did not kill it letting it rampage in the city?

I pickpocketed but always had a lock that it doesnt miss!

I used area spells but nobody good hurt.

I killed all lichs.

The freaky thinkg is that the guards only go hostile in TIHS single building in whole Alkathla!

When you say
the building in the bridge district, where the theatre is
do you mean the Five Flagons Inn or Saerk's manor in the centre of the Bridge district?

If it's the latter then be aware that this manor is, or can be, part of Anomen's murdered sister's quest. As far as I know the only part this building plays in this game is if you encourage Anomen to avenge his sisters death by killing Saerk, so it's possible that if you have, or have had Anomen in your party that this may be triggering the manor guards hostility. Or even if you haven't had Anomen in the party, this could be the probelm. If it is then the easiest solution is to just leave the house alone as it serves no function other than it's role in that quest.

If it's not that building then apologies for a meaningless post.

Ah - there is a building that you cannot enter as you like and if you do the guards will be hostile. You cannot just barge into homes like if no one lives there - some of the homes (one) belongs to a noble and is part of another part of the story that may or may not be activated during your quests - so if you go there once they will warn you and if you do it again you will be attacked. There is also in the district a building that is just full of mercenaries (if there is a women with them its them) they will definitely attack you (they might look like guards but are not) so be warned if you like to walk into houses randomly looking for treasure to steal (that's called being a house burglar) some of its occupants will take offense and will treat you accordingly.

The easiest thing to do is either not enter the house (obvious solution) or kill everyone (which may affect you in some way - most likely in a negative way.)

I didnt mean any one of the citizen buildings, It is the Five Flagons Inn, where the theatre is. When I enter, they attack me all! Its the only one building. I also know about Saerk's manor and the hostile guards there. Actually there will appear around 15 guards and 5 mages    But I didnt go into this building, because I dont do any quest there and dont want any trouble....

Still the problem isnt solved.... (sigh)

I can't remember there being any guards in the Five Flagons, do they materialise there after you enter? If not (and I'm remembering correctly) what mods, if any, do you have running?

Weirder, and weirder. I can only assume it's caused by a glitch created by one of the last two mods you referred to, although I dont recll anyone else having this problem with any of the mods you mention; sometimes the load order can cause weird things to happen.

My solution if it happened to me would be to be ready to pause the game as soon as I entered. Then, if I hadn't completed the Planar Prison quest, or was a Bard; or more importantly had completed Aran's second quest, I'd pause as soon as they appeared and then Ctrl+Y them,

If I'd done those two quests and wasn't a Bard then just avoiding the Inn would be another option.

Last time I ran through I cast Breach on an enemy and it affected all on the distric map I was on, who then turned hostile. You might have a similar problem.

(figthing mages and demons is somewhat hard without Breach)...
