Graphical problems

Hay guys, Ive got a problem,

Ive got a pretty new PC with a good graphics card (Ati Radeon HD 4800 2gb) and I still get a warning sign for graphic card when I first started up the game.

now when I or Kreia activates a force power to enhance an ability and I walk around I get severe graphics problems.

the weird thing is, I have played kotor 2 on this pc before and I didnt have that problem then. I did install some other mods, so maybe thats a problem.

any thoughts what I should do?

What exactly do you mean by graphics problems? Massive game slowdowns? Crashes? Distorted images?

In any case, try and see if your video card drivers have been fully updated.

Alternatively, did you update your video drivers recently? If so, try reverting back to the older driver. Don't update unless you experience serious troubles already, or if you are 100% certain you'll gain something specific.

the problem I speak of is....hard to explain

its like a screen that comes over the game with loads of in blue-ish, yellow-ish colored squares.

and I did recently update a driver. on internet it was adviced to download Cataclyst or something if you had problems in kotor 2. it didnt help though.

Catalyst has been around since the dawn of NVidia Geforce cards. There are many versions available. I suggest you try the following. Look back on the page where it was suggested to update the Catalyst driver. See if there is a date stamp on the page somewhere. See if you can find the corresponding Catalyst driver from that time. Provided the driver itself isn't older than the model type of your video card, you're good to go.
