Highcliff Castle Ruins Bug?!?
Highcliff Castle Ruins Bug?!?
Hey sorry for bugging everyone...
But I'm having a problem with my NWN2 campaign.
I made it to the Highcliff castle ruins and killed all the zombies, then found the lizardfolk and talked to him... blah blah blah... then the leader asked if I was ready to go to the chieftain, I said, "No, I want to explore more."
Big mistake I guess, cuz all the lizardfolk, but Slaan, disappeared... and I left back out the front door and went to the map, but there was no Lizardfolk cave.
Please help! I went back to highcliff and looked around... nothing. any ideas?

Hmm, you mean even if you right click on his portrait, i.e. the one on the top right (or was it left?) corner of your screen you wont get the drop down menu?Lytmare wrote:Thanks for replying, but I've tried right clicking on him, nothing happened... in fact, since I re-installed it, I can't right click on any of my group!..
If that is the case, you should probably consider patching up your game if you haven't already.

As mentioned above you have to right click on his actual portrait, not the character model.
Patching your game may fix it, but the simplist fix would be to load your old game. From my experience playing NWN2, I've learned that you really should save before and after every major change, and in at least 3 slots.

At this point I think you may also be able to go north from the outdoor map, take the long way around. Don't quote me on that though.

IIRC that only works if you have decided to kill Slaan instead of help him.Tricky wrote:At this point I think you may also be able to go north from the outdoor map, take the long way around. Don't quote me on that though.

That is correct. If you kill Slaan then you find a map on his body (automatically when he dies), so you can get to the lair from any world map screen. If you don't kill him then you don't get the map, so you cannot get to the lair via the world map.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:IIRC that only works if you have decided to kill Slaan instead of help him.
