Can you CLUA in an NPC?

Post by Jordoo »

Dos anyone know how or if you can CLUA in an NPC specifically a dead one? I have Chloe in my party and her dialog is screwed up because she was about to banter with Valygar before I let a clay golom kill him after getting him to let us in the planar sphere.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)

You can, but I doubt it'll help with your current dilemma, there are five different Valygar files for a start, and none of them will be a reincarnation of the one in your party. Why not use resurrect or raise dead, or Ctrl+R?

The code for the Valygars is Valyg8, Valyg9, Valyg11, Valyg12 and Valyg14 if you want to try.

I can't just resurect him back because I purpossly killed him nd then dropped him from the party. I didn't notice that it had messed up Chloe's dialog untill much later when we were out of the Sphere and I had saved over my pre Planar Sphere saves.

I believe the numbers following his name represent what level he is, since he'll be a higher or lower level when you encounter him depending on your main character's level. I imagine they all use the same dialog file, but I'm not sure if the variables will carry over (like how far into a conversation he is in).

The command would be CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Valyg8") or any of the Valygar codes Galraen posted.

Good luck.

If you know the global for Chloe's dialogue script then you can force that to go off. However I'm not knowledgeable about the Chloe mod so I don't know specifically what you need to look for in the globals (or locals even, it might be there.)
