i have completed DS2 two times, first time i got that ??? monster about 5 times, and now playing secong time only 1.
i know it's just luck, but maybe there is any tips to make it appear more often?
bought all items that have "chance to find magic items" and now for whole party its %200+.
i need to get that mysterious stone to go to mysterious cave.
it's the only thing left to fully complete that game

Rather craft your own magic find items. On a legendary item you can insert 8 prismatic baubles(15% chance to find magic items). That will give you 120% on 1 item...but you can have 6 of these magic find items(4 rings, an amulet and a book), which gives you 720%. Higher numbers can be reached with gear.
In order for the mysterious stone to drop you'll need to bring his health down to 0. As he runs most of the time, melee is quite ineffective. Have some ranged damage in your party to ease the effort. Also, use your powers to take him down as quick as possible. Detonation and Aether Blast have proved quite useful against ???.

I am at the point of confronting Valdis and still have not gotten the mysterious stone from ??? Is it too late to get it and if not where do I go to get him to show up?
