I wonder how effective it would be to give your character a specialization outside their class? (Example: Giving a mage say Champion/War Cries chain or Bard/Songs chain for their 2nd specialization)
I don't see why you couldn't do this. Has anyone tried it?
Thoughts/Opinions on feasibility of doing so if its allowed?
Cross Class Specializations
It is impossible. Any book you can learn specializations from will have a class requirement. Any trainer will have the same.
You now bear the awesome responsibility of the Metal "Unit". Gussets of wind, seams like reality, pockets of resistance, the seat of power, and legs as flared as your temper. Polish it well; the onus is now on you.

Poisons, Stealing, Herbalism, etc are all available for all classes. Class specific things like Stealth or Lock Picking are only available to the Rogue, just like spells are only open to Mages.Ragin Cajun wrote:If you are talking about teaching your mage to do poisons or lock picking...I think you can do this. I don't recall seeing those blocked out when I'm inputting my skills at level-up. I'll have to double check next time.
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.
