Penalties of death

Post by nocturn »

Except for the inflicted injuries, is there an experience penalty (a la Dragon Age: Journeys) for fallen in combat party members?

I haven't seen anything but the injury myself.

It is only fair that no experience penalty applies to fallen party members, considering the difficulty of most battles.

What happens in Journeys is that when the battle is over, the total experience points are shared among the living members of your party (which is a stupid mechanic in my opinion, since every contributing member should gain experience from the battle theoretically).
Is that true for Origins too?

I'm pretty sure that fallen party members also get xp. It is always divided around all the party members regardless if they made it alive or not.
