The inventory of Wade's Emporium

Post by GawainBS »

I was browsing the equipment database here at GB and I happened upon several good items, which can be bought from Wade's, apparently. However, I check it in-game and nothing of value was offered. I remember them refusing to talk to me/let me shop later in the game.
Does the inventory evolve during the game? Are there any dialogue options you should avoid? I did pay him last time to make the two sets of Dragon Armour. Would that have to do with it?

It could be that the equipment is only available after the Landsmeet. You also might have to avoid having more than one or two suits of drake/dragon armor created for you to avoid being unwelcome in the store. I'll have to load up a save game and see if I can figure out why I was able to buy these items.

If I'm correct, after the second set of armor is made Wade's shopkeeper kicks you out for good whether you pay for them or not (since your dragon scales repeatedly stall his business, after all). I paid for both sets, said all the "right" things, and I still wasn't allowed to shop after the improved set was finished.

The equipment definitly wasn't there when I first went to Denerim. I guess the trick is to avoid getting the Dragonscale Armour untill after the Landsmeet...

Seems like there is a lot of ends to tie up after you declare the Landsmeet. I've got so many quests just after two parts that I can't do until after LM..

Am I the only one that thought it was ridiculous that you can't buy anything at Wade's Emporium after you've had two sets of armor made, even if you pay for them?

I mean, does EVERYTHING in this game have a manufactured trade-off? Come on, that's just asinine.

I find it strange, but their conversations were funny enough to not be bothered with it. :p

I'm sure someone will come up with a mod to allow you to buy stuff at the emporium after Wade's made the armor.

I was able to buy good items from Wade's after completing Redcliffe.
