Dog's landmarks

Post by KaOSoFt »

Hello there.

I just acquired the game, and I'm currently at Lothering, when I found out about Dog's landmarks. I checked your page on the Mabari hound, and it mentioned one in Ostagar, in the King's camp, but I couldn't find it myself. Is it visible pressing Tab? Can you take a picture of the exact location?

Thank you very much!

If you press TAB only the word "major landmark" will appear, it will not be highlighted. The most usual I have seen are trees, but there are also boats and rocks...

As you do not get the dog until after the battle, I don't think there is one in the camp. Although I'm not far enough through the game to know if you return there at some point :)

Hello there! Thanks for your quick response.

I was more inclined to know the exact location. Like I said, I didn't find it, and I ran around all the camp with Tab pressed...

Not necessarily true. Human Noble origin starts the game with the hound. It is conceivable that if think waiting for your dog to pee on a tree before going about the vital task of lighting a signal fire, such a land mark could be used on that origin only. May be worth it, used it for the first time last night, the combat bonus seems to be substantial.

Was it in Ostagar? Do you know where this landmark is...?

No mine was the Lothering one too. Wouldn't be surprised if one was there, I just don't know where it is.

I know to look for them now, but I won't be restarting the noble origin for a while. That will be a down the road experiment.
