Sure it IS funny after all, especially that bit at the end, but it is kind of annoying that in place of making up their own material all Family Guy can do these days is poach other peoples work.
The whole insert Niel Diamond joke here is a perfect example of that. Maybe a few quick seconds, but on one episode there was a whole song thrown in and as it was a video clip there was no work at all done by the shows writers for it.
Having said that, with the possible exception of tweety Bird, no cartoon character in creation deserved a bloody end more than the roadrunner.
