Combat Shotgun *Spoilers

When I was playing this game the 1st time (computer crashed right after I got to Gecko) Randall in Vault City had a Combat Shotgun for sale. This time he does not have one.
Does he re-stock? And if so how often.

I think most of sellers in the game have different weapons to offer when you talk to them at different times.Especially those that have shelves in their store, if you click on one shelf and then another one, you can buy different things.

You might have to travel to NCR to be sure to find one.

Every merchant restock every 1-4 days in game time, depending on merchant. Each shop also contains several tables, shelves and/or lockers which contains rest of the merchant's wares, the inventory shown through dialogue varies between these containers randomly (or at least I don't know how it's determined). If the inventory from dialogue doesn't contain the gun, then open each of the containers in the same room with the merchant and see if you find what you are looking for. If you can't, recheck later (during next 1-4 days) to see if restocking has brought the gun.
