Is it me that's a complete fool, or is there some special way to give gifts? I am around lvl 12 of writing this and still haven't been able to give gifts yet.
Is it something you unlock or do you have to do something special to do it?

To give a gift, go to your inventory, switch to the character you want to give the gift to, select the gift and choose the give gift option. It's the same place where the options to destroy, use etc any object is. I usually do all that in camp.
