Urn of Sacred Ashes *spoilers*

Post by Solusek »

After you've sided with Kolgrim and the Cult of Andraste and defiled the Ashes of Andraste you can decide to turn against Kolgrim and kill him anyway. However, as far as I remember, he doesn't drop the Horn you need to summon the High Dragon this way. Can anyone confirm that? I'm not quite sure anymore.

From the Prima Game Guide (page 240): "At any point after first encountering Kolgrim the player can provoke him into fighting and kill him. This gives the player access to Kolgrim's Horn (or a gong in the console version), which can be used to call the high dragon down from the mountaintop to fight the party." Now, I've gotta warn ya, the guide was off on a couple of minor issues, but hopefully it is correct on this one.

Thx, I hope so too ;) Well, worst thing that can happen is that I'll have to reload the save game right before meeting Kolgrim the first time.

The fight with the High Dragon (or the lack of it) plays a part in the Epilogue.

What does that have to do with my question?
