I know this question has been asked before..

Post by lucius22 »

but I just finished the game, and was kinda looking forward to finding something in the demon realm that I hadnt already found and had taken away from me (the relics) In particular I am speaking of the Divine Bladerelic and/or Demonic Katana. The only thing I found were succubi. I have been looking through past posts and kinda am confused, one place I found they are "found in demon realm" another said both can be found in the labyrinth or ToS. Are they a rare drop from succubi or those demons in the demon realm? If anyone might actually know from actually finding one of these please let me know, if not I will stick with my diamond greatsword/bladerelic of night. If you dont have either weapon, you probably are just as confused as me.. and by the way, anyone think the ending kinda sucked? Maybe I beefed my guy up too much for the end fight? the fiend in ToS was tougher than the last guy I was kinda confused. anyways thanks for your time and sorry about the rambling :speech:

You won't find anything of interest in the demon realm, unfortunately. One of the chests in the labyrinth does give a rare drop of some of the better weapons (ie. No Dachi of Winter).

What I did to get the missing weapons in the game was to edit them into a "restart" character file, and sell them to various shops in the game. Spoiler:
Spoiler
(Also, you might want to give the "restart" character Davenmor's orders, because you otherwise will not receive them, and won't be able to exit Fargrove by the town gates until after you beat Captain Okata.)
An interesting weapon to have is the branch that the trees throw at you.

In order to play the game, you need a "restart" file. Basically, that is a file saved at the beginning of the game. You choose multiplayer LAN, and load your character in the "restart" game.

Using the game editor, you can give the "restart" character weapons, armor etc. to sell to shops so that your character can buy them. (Letters and quest items that you give to the "restart" character, such as Sleth's safehouse key, will show up in your character's inventory.)

There are a lot of good weapons that never show up in the game.

so the restart file is used for when you use your charactor on LAN setting? cause I just play on single player.. or is the restart file the save file? is that what you are saying? cause I have the save files.. how would one load one of these weapons on the save file? do you have to have the weapon file itself or can you type a command or something? thanks again for your help.

Read this thread and download the game editor:

The purpose of the "restart" file is just that - to be able to restart the game. It resets all storyline quests (NOT class quests, nor certain side-quests) so that you can reuse the same character to play through the game again. The way you do this, is to start a LAN game, and load the character you want to play into the "restart" save file. (Just go into the multiplayer LAN options, and it will be very clear what I'm talking about.)

Use the editor to give the "restart" character whatever it is you want your character to be able to acquire, and go to a shop to sell it. Armor, shields, weapons, spells, etc. (basically, anything that you can sell to a shop) will need to be acquired in this way - keys, letters, quest items, etc. (stuff that you cannot sell to a shop) will simply pass from the "restart" character's inventory to your character's inventory.
