Punching with enchanted gloves.

So let's say I'll make a character who specializes in punching their enemy to peril. That character then decides to enchant two pairs of gloves, one causing agility damage and the other strength damage, both on strike.

Does it matter which glove is enchanted when the character then actually hits someone? Does leftyness/rightness play a major role with the gloves?
