Anyone figure out how to open this section for the quests?

it will open itself after you save the arl of redcliffe and go with him for the landmeet.

OK. So you have to complete all the main quest lines to get there. I had a side quest to meet someone in there.

YES. it will not matter how many quests involve the alienage. it will only open after you go with the arl to his estate in denerim for the landsmeet. soon afterward you will receive a message to check out the alienage and it will open.

So I saved the Queen and shes telling me to go to the Alienage but its not open. I know im missing something. I have yet to go to the Landsmeet and cannot figure out what to do or where to go.

More than likely a glitch. Try restarting the game. usually clears this up.

The Alienage does not open until the Landsmeet starts.

True enough. But once the quest to save the Queen is finished, the Alienage in Denerim is supposed to be opened. Used correctly, there is something in there that can help in the Landsmeet.

enter via the gate in Market District, not from the map
