I did it, and all i can say - don't do it ;) Yoshi is quite useless as thief/low lvl warrior, unless you remove the xp cap and level him up till he becomes a killing machine.. But otherwise, as you know, Yoshi won't have the time to get powerfull as dual class

The real question is, why would you want to? :D ;)

He's the only single class thief in the unmodded game, and one of only two characters that are active thieves that receive skill points to put towards finding traps and the like. What's more, he is a mediocre fighter with a relatively low CON/STR score, so there's not much point. There are plenty of tanks in this game to fulfill the grunt role without Yoshimo's help. ;)

No. He's too good and too useful as he is. Pity to spoil him. I always rather fancied him, too. ;) Must play that game again...

Frequently...like as soon he gets me into Spellhold. Silly Yoshimo also seems to often take all the wrong proficiencies, wields his katana in his offhand, and changes his outfit to lurid colours. I blame that funny-tasting ship food, the whole party felt strange after that...maybe Saemon Havarian is just a bad cook or something.

thanks for all the input... i decided not to dual class him and keep him a pure
thief, but i just lost him in the asylum... but i plan on getting him back in TOB if that is possible not sure. anyways i was wondering what other people use to replace yoshimo because he always leaves.

my party right now is
PC fighter/mage
Anomen
Kagain
Imoen (just for the asylum, i would like to pick up another thief just dont know which anybody have any suggestions... i was thinking Jan.

thanks
