Is there a way to finish this quest if you aren't a rogue? I am now in Arl Eamon's estate and the place is set up like the party camp, so only the main character can do anything. My main character is a warrior, so he can't unlock the chests. Do you get a chance later to go into the estate with your party?

I think it may just be in an already opened box. I've recently done that quest with a Mage and I completed the quest. I don't recall exactly where it was located though, but it doesn't require the main character to be a specific class, that's for sure.
Don't think you know all the answers.

SPOILER:
Spoiler
IIRC, the letter is in a chest on the opposite side of the hall from the Kitchen, in a room behind the one where Lelianaand Zevran normally haunt (if available)

Yeah, thanks, I finally found it. I'd been searching all over for the 12th love letter, and according to some walkthrough the letter is in Arl Eamon's bedroom, which is a locked chest, and which, thankfully, isn't true.
