I can't get this.

I'm sure you are all thinkn omg another noob can't fix the Jahiera romance. but from what i have found in other blogs, forums, google, etc. no one seems to have my problem or anything similar. My lovetalks were playing out of order for awhile and i've killed dermien, but it skipped some love talks, and then it started going back to the ones i had missed, the ones you are supposed to have before killing him. After killing him, some time later, i got the one you are supposed to have right before he comes and tells you jahiera's fate (2nd encounter) in a mansion in the gov't district. if it supposed to skip, then the next one requires me to sleep, and that doesn't work, yes i am sleeping out in the wilderness.
the romance is at 3874914 and the romanceactive is at 1 so i know its still going on. anyone know what the deal is.

DUUUUDE. Been there. Nothing worse than a romance not working eh? I searched long and hard for solutions to my, similar, problem. I found all sorts of SetGlobal:JaheiraRomance("GetGlobal") rubbish, and just fiddled. The only advice I can give you (sorry it's not a definate answer, I wish I could help more) is to mess around with the romance commands until you've an understanding of them (you probably already have much more of an understanding of them than I) and if neccessary, reset it, keep changing the timer to 1, and do the whole thing again.

okay so i looked at it again and now i remember. I did mess up a little bit. what happened was i met dermien for the second time right, after that the romance continued, but with lovetalks that are supposed to take place before that. It skipped the "Blast my armour needs cleaning" one but i believe i had all the ones between that one and second encounter. So the thing is not sequence with dermien. These should have happened before. The other thing i noticed was that i could not rest to get the one single love talk between the two meetings, because everytime i did the idiot dermien would actually show up. (Funny because people have hard times getting him to appear, and i'm trying not to get him too.) so i got impatient and killed the poor fool, the only thing i don't know is am i supposed to get the "Aww..the dawning of our day" quote from in between the meetings since it should be next after "How did the last battle make you feel." or am i supposed to get "It is about time we rested" one, which is supposed to come after you kill dermien (not counting the one that immediately takes place after the battle) All i know is if i made the mistake of killing him before getting the dawning of our day quote, i'm screwed, i have a save i can get to, but its 13 DAYS!! from where i am now, and i just did a bunch of stuff. I guess what i'm asking is what comes next, and how do i spark the darn thing. I'm tired of sleeping in nature LOL.

Well mate, there are a couple of options open. You can either faff about with the "Lovetalk locals" or whatever the hell they're called, which, since there is an npc conversation factor involved, might be a bit tricky. OR, and this is probably what I'd do, you can compare the 23day old save to your current one, note every difference such as weaponry, money, experience, and then set the difficulty to easy and breeze back to where you were. Then simply cheat to gain all the items/experience that you legitimately acquired before Jaheira's lovetalk messed up. I know 23 days is a long time, and really it depends on how much you've actually progressed. I mean, if you were just doing sidequests etc, then it's no problem - don't do the quests and cheat to get the experience back.

Tricky one though, I think that you'll probably have a decent answer from someone who knows more about the game mechanics than myself, but you might have to wait a while for it. Don't know. This is the place to ask though, and I'm sure anyone who can help will do. Good luck, and again, sorry, I'm not very good with the CLUA commands, especially the bloody lovetalks.
