Remember: Deals with Demons NEVER end well, and it was a Deal with a demon that got you in that situation. Just Kill her.

why you would miss out on a extra talent point

you negotiate with her the when she offers her options

use INTIMIDATE (with strenght of 14 i was able to outclass her xD)( was mage btw)

then after intimidate again and she offers her options again but then again no deal just free approval, talent, pleasure, specialization

Hmm, this is the second time I've seen you giving bad advice. You might want to try out different strategies/quest outcomes when you play this game as it's rarely that straightforward.

Oh, I have, Horus.

However, When playing as a mage, I don't bother with putting points into strength, so Intimidation is out. First time I went thru this area as a mage (all other classes can't do ANYTHING here), I had 10 STR, and level 1 coercion/persuade. Not very intimidating. Total fail on the point.

Second time, 13 str, level 1 coercion. Has YET to reach Redcliffe. Actual FIrst time in Redcliffe was as a Human Warrior with ~35 STR and level 4 Coercion. But Warriors can't enter the Fade this way.

Secondly, I have read up on the variety of outcomes from doing this quest several different ways, and can tell you indeed that it doesn't end well, unless you kill the Demon.

And even THAT doesn't end greatly. Poor Eamon.

I'm pretty sure you don't need any coercion/intimidation skills to strike a deal with the fade demon, I'm also pretty sure that for mages intimidation is based on their magic score, not strength.

It's possible (I haven't tried with the most recent patch), but the first time I tried intimidation with a mage, it failed.
