Lfmmorpg

Post by Artem1620 »

I am on a quest for a fun mmorpg. WoW, LOTRO, RoM, and Aion are well, the same thing except graphics wise. They all revolve around level-based stuff and high end content. Runescape was good but way too much grinding and a 2.5D graphics thing going on. I wish to find an mmorpg with a skill-based system (lvl 20 can pwn lvl 80 or sumthing), also with guild wars, and realistic graphics (at least like Aion or LOTRO). Any good choices out there?

You've set the bar quite high.
The only thing I can think of right now is Atlantica Online.

It's a Free-to-Play MMO so the graphics are not quite as good as the ones you've been comparing your future game to but it's still alright.

It's highly skillbased, Perhaps not as brutal as a level 20 taking down a level 80 character but taking down a level 50 character myself when I played it and I know others who managed to do even better.

It's worth taking a look at least.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes was super fun in beta testing. On release, however, it pretty much collapsed. On the bright side, I've heard they've fixed all of those problems and it may be worth a go.
