Hello,
to get to the point: For S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, do I have to patch the game one download at a time (From 1.0001 to 1.0006) or should I just download the latest patch since the latest patch would have all the updates from the other patches within itself?
I know this is probably a silly and obvious question to all of you but I just wanted to be safe from the not so malign consequences of incorrect actions.
Edit: Another question about the same game: I have the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl bonus edition (with all that making of and stuff) and it's in English, is there a way to change that into Russian? I mean all the dialogue and stuff... Please tell me if I need to download anything for that.
Thanks in advance,

Just download the latest patch since they're cumulative, though I remember that the official site only listed the latest patch at v1.0005. If you want a v1.0006 patch, I'd suggest looking around at other sites like Gamespot or BigDownload. You'll have to download the both of them if you want to patch it all the way to v1.0006 because the latter patch is not cumulative.Project-404 wrote: to get to the point: For S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, do I have to patch the game one download at a time (From 1.0001 to 1.0006) or should I just download the latest patch since the latest patch would have all the updates from the other patches within itself?
You should visit the official website or modding forums for this. I remember that it is possible, but never knew how it is done. Sorry that I can't be of much help here.Project-404 wrote:Edit: Another question about the same game: I have the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl bonus edition (with all that making of and stuff) and it's in English, is there a way to change that into Russian? ''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
