Well I have been recently attracted to DDO from ads and friends but never settled down to give it a go so i am downloading it right now and me my self am a paper and pen player so will this game be worth any of my time or just a waste that i will uninstall in a week? So in DDO do you make a party or play by your self solo with other people? And is there the monk class or a druid class if there is i guess ill be pretty happy anyways lol... thanks
Is This Game Worth It??
I've heard of more content being available to people that choose not to subscribe. Whether or not that makes the experience worthwhile is a crapshoot. Unless the online crowd has changed much, expect 99% of your time taken up by people you'd rather not hear from.
I'd rather be part bull than a complete sheep.

Ddo
My biggest problem with DDO, was that I was used to playing games like Everquest and such, where you could encounter people in the game as you are playing out in the world. DDO, everything is an instanced dungeon, it makes it hard to socialize. You can hang around town and meet people, but it just wasn't the same thing.
The Dungeons were the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER. There was no variety to the game what so ever. I would go on loot runs for one dungeon again and again, hoping for something good. Though the same can be said for most games, but to that extent it just felt like such a small game.
