IWD 1 (possible widescreen without HOW?)

Hi there. Tomorrow I'll have IWD, and I want to play it in widescreen, but I don't have any expansion packs installed (don't have it). Is there any widescreen possibility?

As far as I'm aware, the only way to get widescreen resolutions for IWD (and the other IE games) is to use the G3 Widescreen Mod, and if I remember correctly, you'll need HoW installed to use it.
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

Yeahh! I've managed to get an Icewind Dale Compiation (IWD+HOW+IWD2). What is the latest patch for IWD1? The Trials of the Luremaster? Which mods should I install (widescreen I suppose...)...
