Oblivion Glitches
My friend and I are creating a full guide on glitches in oblivion, for all consoles and PC. We are in need of real, re creatable glitches, ones that have been tested and proven across platforms, and across other games. There are a LOT of glitches (perhaps that is why there are so little guides about them) but we are hoping to make this guide as full as possible.
So does anyone have any glitches for us? (And we do know about the dupe glitch and ones like the unlimited money one, we aren't oblivious )

A man has only one life, but history can remember him forever....
there is a way to get outside of the Imperial Market District without using the doors, and after you get over the wall you can get out of the defined map.
Edit: I found a youtube vid of someone doing it but it's not very good quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fogNwCurMFA

Well, it presents its point. But you would need a lot of acrobatics to do it easily....Salidin54 wrote:there is a way to get outside of the Imperial Market District without using the doors, and after you get over the wall you can get out of the defined map.

Ok, in accordance to that glitch, when you do it, walk AROUND the cities, or else you will probably get stuck underneath buildings.... And, walk on the GRASS, there will not fall into the "void" and everywhere there is grass, you can walk, even on steep hills.

When I bought the house in Anvil I had to do the quest for Benirus Manor and fight Lorgren. I got in front of him, with his spawned buddy behind him and I was able to keep hitting him (hand-to-hand) while he could only touch me once. Not sure if this is a bug, but I increased hand-to-hand one or two levels while killing him.
I'm not sure if it this would be considered a glitch, but there is a way to get the Imperial Guard and the Mage Guild to get into a sort of war.
1) Become a member of the Arcane University.
2) Get a member of the Imperial Guard to attack you while at the Arcane University.
3) While the mages are attack the guard go into and out of a building until the guard starts attacking the mages.
4) Once a member of either party is killed, they will attack each other on sight.
Make sure you have completed all of the storylines before doing this or else important characters may be killed.

But most important NPC's CAN'T be killed, and that is a plusSalidin54 wrote:I'm not sure if it this would be considered a glitch, but there is a way to get the Imperial Guard and the Mage Guild to get into a sort of war.

Well I guess instead they get "knocked out" and then their limp body falls down a hill and they can't get back up, because 10001101 can't figure out that you have to walk over to the path in order to get back up. Or they fall into a lake and get stuck under something where once they get back up they are still under-water and drown again in an infinite loop of death and drowning.Lexeaus wrote:But most important NPC's CAN'T be killed, and that is a plus

Dupe Glitch:
(Xbox 360)
Cast a spell
before it is fully cast (usually just the aura of the magic is beginning), hit "B"
-This part is crucial: You must have arrows, for it determines the quantity of items that are duplicated. -
While in inventory, select a set of arrows (preferably un-equipped arrows) hit "A" on it twice.
Next, go to the item you with to duplicate and drop it.
Exit the inventory and loot the items.
Works best with ingredients and items that aren't armor, or weapons.
Note: Stay under 200 arrows or else the game may freeze.
Note: This is pre-patch only.

Probably not recreatable, but it WAS funny.
I was in Bruma, and as I was heading down the hill towards one of the city gates one of the beggars was walking near me but instead of walking down the hill they stayed at the same level and proceeded to walk across the air... :s lol. I even tried talking to them and they actually looked down at me.
I saved the game at this point but when I reloaded they were back on the ground.
