Oghren not joining party (possible spoiler)

i'm in the dwarven city, i did all the little side quests, and i've sided with Harrowmont to the point that he sent me to the Deep Roads, but Oghren never asked to join my party as i entered the Deep Roads. i've cleared the first area, and still nothing. i've read other posts, and it looks like i should have him in my party by now. anyone have the same problem?

I had something similar happen to me, but then I *wanted* that.

He will show up when you meet his wife (no matter what - there is a cut-scene), even with 4 in your party (and not having Oghren as a selected member). If you are careful you can have 4 in your party AND Oghren (as an aid) at the final "deep roads" battle (which is very soon after the cut-scene). Often though at the beginning of this cut-scene one of your 4 party members will be replaced by Oghren (..presumably the last one on your portrait list).

If you want him before then, just go back to the city and go to your add/remove party members interface and you should see him there.
