Reinstalled game, eventually, after unrelated problem on laptop required a recovery. Now found got a problem in SECRET ACADEMY (I did hot have this first time around.)
I go off to talk to Atris but when come back Atton & Kreia are still where I left them- where had conversation with handmaiden ( not prison).Clicking on either of them gives 2 options-cheatnode - continue conversation with Kreia ( which does nothing) or cheat node- go to meeting with Atris. Not word for word but something like that. Latter option takes me trough step already been though, and even if I'm really nasty I come out with light side points. (1st time through I was ice & light).
Tried deleting games and going back before problem but same thing happens. Now deleted more and gone back further pre to when problem first started
I had noticed when in shuttle that movies had lost sound. Also my laptop ran out off battery power mid one game.
I suspect something has got corrupted. I've recently had a windows update so do not thing I'll be able to restore successfully. Writing here in case others had this problem and also to seek any advice.
I'm wondering whether to run again the 1.0b pc patch with a view to reinstalling over, and perhaps rectifying any problems. Not sure if this is a good idea or not.
Meanwhile, I've gone back to pre shuttle trip and pre Polar region to see if will run ok.(Deleted more recent saves.)
Any thoughts let me know. I'm using Vista SP2 but followed advice re installing on such and no problems like this with previous installation, which is why I suspect corruption.
