Say I was wearing a Dream helm (which grants level 15 lightning aura) and was a paladin character...would the damage output increase if I put points into resist lightning aura (as a synergy)?
Same thing goes if I was using Doom (which grants cold aura) etc...
If this is the case and it does synergise then I think I have just found a rather powerful melee paladin build.....

Yeah I am interested also to see the total damage output.
I am doing around 4000 odd damage using Barnars Star (weapon), and having the holy fire aura on + lightning aura from the Dream helm...
The trouble always is with these type of builds that rely on rune words and socketed weapons is finding them.....or having something good enough to trade for them....

what server are you on, if we are both on the same one I will gladly donate any runes I have to this important scientific study, though I must say my current characters are all < lvl 50.
