I beat Gromnir but Melissan isn't appearing?! *spoilers*
I killed everyone in the throne room and apparently Melissan's supposed to appear after I kill Gromnir. Well...that's not happening. What's the console code for Melissan/ how can I get her to appear? And oh yeah, if I go to the pocket plane, Solar doesn't show up, so I obviously can't progress with the story.
Make sure that there isn't any invisible mage left.

Had a similar problem (I guess) in Watchers Keep, first level. One of the statues got stuck behind the kitchen door, and apparently I couldn't close it, because it was blocked somehow. And I couldn't see it, but I threw a couple of AOE spells, ADHW and so on. With careful aiming at the area around the pillar close to the door I killed it. After that I was able to get to the next level of the Keep.Stworca wrote:Make sure that there isn't any invisible mage left.
However, if there are any monsters left in the room, the save menu should be inaccessible. If the game can be saved, that should at least be a hint that all enemies in Gromnirs throne room are dead. Then you'll probably have to clue in Melissan.
Can't remember her exact filename, but commands like these:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Khalid")
or
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Drizzt")
or
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Elmins")
obviously let's you bring in Khalid, Drizzt and Elminster. Try messing around with that command, just with Melissans name instead, or something like that. Come to think of it, I believe it's something like MELISS01 or along those lines. But I honestly can't remember for sure.
The problem with CLUAConsole spawning is - the mob just stands there doing nothing, and you cannot talk to it (i.e. "Melissan appears busy")

there is a spiral staircase at the top of the map. sometimes when you damage enemies to the point of being 'panicked' they flee and head for doors/stairs. Check the cellar to see if they fled down there. Also take the stairs up as well to the parapet where Errard the mage is defending the city. He/she/it may have fled in that direction as well.

It shouldn't be like that, if the game is set for you to have a conversation with her, and she just hasn't shown up. The same applies for conversations with Elminster regarding the Harper Hold quests. Sometimes he just doens't show up, which can be a regular pain, if you have to get some closure to that quest, and possibly Jaheiras romance. When you clue him in, he starts off with conversations immediately.Stworca wrote:The problem with CLUAConsole spawning is - the mob just stands there doing nothing, and you cannot talk to it (i.e. "Melissan appears busy")
The problem with Melissan not wanting to talk to you when clued in is that the trigger for that conversation hasn't been triggered, so to speak. There is something missing, before those conditions have been met. RPGguy is probably right, someone has fled the scene and hasn't been killed. When that's taken care of, she'll probably be a lot more talkative.
