Alienage glich (possible spoilers)

i've completed all 3 main quest lines, sided with Anora, and was requested to check out the Alienage. However, it remains gray on the map, using the front gate in the market district. there is literally nothing left for me to do other than the alienage. has anyone else encountered this glitch, and how do i get past it?

The Alienage has it's own seperate entrance in the Denerim Market area. You need to use that exit rather than the usual gate that you normally use to get there. It's along one of the walls, not too far from Brother Genitivi's house I believe.
