Graphical glitch.

I get black boxes around inventory items. When equipping items, the avatar of the characters in the inventory also goes completely black. What could cause something like this?

I had the same problem and I blame my video card for it. I found a fix, however. Simply lower your video options to 16 bit graphics and disable 3d axeleration. Sure, that sucks, but at least it works.

Also note that I'm not a technical guy, so someone might have a better solution. Moreover, this glitch appears only on my PC* and not on my ATI RADEON x1250-powered laptop. Just give us your video card's model and hopefully someone might know a better way to fix it.

*I'm too lazy to check its configuration now, but I think it uses a nVidia card.

That would be an Nvidia GeForce GT220. It works now. For some reason reinstalling the drivers did the trick.
