Hi there,
I finaly made my old favorite BG work under my new PC and I'm glad I can play this game after such a long time.
Currently I have installed the fallowing:
-BG II SoA
-BG II ToB (European version, I have the atari package)
-BG II ToB official patch (European version too, obv)
-G3 widescreen mod (wich helped my too big screen issue)
Now, I want the G3 fixpack and tweakpack. Two questions for you guys:
1) I know the fixpack is supposed to be installed 1st, should I remove widescreen mod 1st?
2) Will these mods work well under window 7?
Thx

If I remember correctly, I would uninstall the G3 Widescreen mod first, and reinstall it LAST, since it's supposed to be done last, right?
These mods, and many other mods, should work fine with Windows 7. As long as the game itself runs fine, you won't have any problems after installing the mods.

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.
FYI, Im running BG2, TOB, and a ton of mods under 64-bit Windows 7.
Be sure to NOT install it in either the Program Files or (x86)Program Files folders and you'll be fine. Make a C:\games\ folder and install it there. I'm running win7 64bit on a celeron laptop with just the built-in graphics card and it works great.
Make sure you're logged on as an admin when you install it.
Make sure you DISABLE 3D acceleration inside BG2. Other people with newer, fancier graphics cards have reported issue and had to disable some things. There's a lot of tips and help available on the official bioware forums (not gonna post a link, not sure that's allowed, but it's a good resource if you have issues, not sure if this forum is meant for technical troubleshooting).
