can't loot the high dragon

i was battling this dragon (god he is annoying)

i killed him while he was in air(mage staff)

he dropped dead i got the achievement of killing him
YET I CAN"T LOOT that FAT ***** (censored)

i mean what the hell?

when i killed kolgrim i immediatly summoned the dragon to kill him

yet i can't loot him

nor does his corpse turn into skelletons

having patch 1.02

how to fix this?

I have found that sometimes corpses take a little while to become "lootable."
Maybe try leaving the area and coming back? That has worked for me.

i did but still it stays unlootable :'(

man what a bummer killing a dragon and not being able to loot his CENSORED corpse..

Hmm..
Assuming you are on PC, have you tried hitting Tab? Sometimes that triggers the looting option.
