party suggestions

hey guys

i am starting a new bg adventure using easytutu. i am going to play solo-multi. so far i have rolled up a cleric, a ranger and a swashbuckling thief. my ranger is an elf with 19 dex and he is going to provide my artillery. the swashbuckler is dual wielding, my cleric can front line but will boost and heal the others.

i will use three other npc's to max out my party. i dont want imoen unless anyone here can suggest a good reason to take her. i am tempted to take minsk but dont want the mage chick from the strong hold-i know i can ditch her and still keep minsk.

which three npc's would you suggest for my party. i tend not to choose evil alignment.

i look forward to your suggestions

I don't see any good-aligned NPCs that add anything significant to your party aside from Dynaheir. My only suggestion would be to add some additional artillery via Kivan.

You need an arcane caster for identifying and casting haste.
Since you neither want the good (Imoen, Dynaheir) nor evil aligned mages (Edwin,Xzar, Eldoth) only Garrick, Xan and Quayle are left.
You could also create a sorcerer as 4th character to experience the fun of spontaneous casting.

My suggestion is Garrick, Faldorn and Ajantis.

good suggestions.

i have been thinking about dualing imoen (i know its been discussed, bare with me please) i already have a kick ass thief i rolled up myself. i thought about dual classing imoen to mage on her first level up. i might keep her if i get a good mage out of her.

i will also think about garrick although i am nervous about the bergost bug if i spend to long and do to much in the town.
