Receipt problem *possible spoilers*!

Okay, so I've got a big problem.
I'm in the Great Foundry right now and I got the Dreambuilder finished, I've finished a bunch of quests and everything, but when I went to Nadilin for the receipt, I realized I don't have it! I *did* get all the items from the Advocate but the receipt is nowhere ): and I can't continue the game without it. I supposedly get some kind of a portal key or something that I can use when I enter the Dreambuilder. Is this a bug of some kind?
I need help. I really want to continue playing the game and finish it, I love PS:T. I do have a previous save, but that was when I just came to the Clerk's Ward, and in that save I didn't even retrieve Morte! And besides, I've finished all of my quests that had something to do with The Hive and all the quests that I've encountered in the Lower Ward and in the Clerk's Ward, so if I was to play all over again from that save, I'd have to do *all* those quests again. And that would be very frustrating! So can I use some kind of a hack to put the item in my inventory, should I do something else to get it or will I really have to play all over again? D: please help!

TeamBG had an inventory editor for PS:T, IIRC. I don't know if it's still around on the net. Maybe on [url="http://www.sorcerers.net/"]Sorcerer's place?[/url]

Thanks a lot! I'll go check it out now. I've tried some inventory editor-like programs, but they didn't have the receipt.

I´d just like to add something here. I play PS:T, too at the moment, and I just encountered the same kind of problem with the Chocolate Quasit from Virischika´s Curiosity Shoppe.

I KNOW I bought that thing, and did nothing with it up to now, but when I wanted to present it to Quell, it was utterly gone.

I gotta remark that I bought all these curious thingies while the NLO´s inventory was full, so he dropped everything to the floor, and I picked all the stuff up after having finished the transactions. I already searched the whole shop floor inch by inch, but it is not lying there anymore :/

It is untraceable now, neither in my inventory, nor in the shop nor on the floor.

I think I´ll try this editor stuff now, I hope I´ll be able to twist the whole story to my favor.

Anyone else with the same kind of problem ? Comments and opinions welcome, thank you very much.

K, after trying PSTHack and this odd but imho ultimately bad savegame editor, I finally tracked down "Near Infinity", familiarized myself with it, and finally "rewarded" myself the Chocolate Quasit and the Deva´s Tears.

Anyone else experiencing these disappearing item troubles should consider doing it the same way.
