I read in the MotB walkthrough that my PC is supposed to get the Greater Negative Aura from One of Many after talking to him once his influence hits 75. I'm 84 with him now, and talking doesn't yield anything, other than him telling me that when the time is right he will answer my questions so on so forth.
My intention of taking him is to get the aura, since it gives me +6 hp/round regeneration. Before my influence with him reached 74, he offered me the lesser version of the aura. I didn't want to kill my diplomacy skills that soon so I turned him down, and reloaded. I had him devour the sleeper. After talking to him again, he offered to become the warlock. I accepted. Nothing happend (he is still the rogue). I talk to him again, he again offers the aura. I refused and reloaded. So there is no bug at this point yet.
What I want know is that is there some special event that shall trigger this greater negative aura, or has a bug occured already that I need to fix? One of Many is no longer offering me the lesser version of the aura, even though in my current save, I had not turned him down. If I ask him to turn into the warlock in a new conversation, he will oblige, and functions normally.
My game version is 1.23.1765. I think it's the newest.

From what I remember it was automatic.. With an approval rating between 50-74 you have an automatic bonus for you and OoM. Maintain 75+ and the bonuses improve (and in particular achieve regeneration for your character).
I don't think initiating dialog activates these bonuses other than to improve the approval rating.
On the other hand I do remember that certain events + initiating dialog are required for the various class switching for OoM. Event required devouring Sleeper for Warlock class. AFTER that dialog, imitate it again and go through the dialog "trees" looking for a way to activate the Warlock class.

OoM has the Greater negative aura automatically listed in its "history feats" (I assume the benefits are included), but I don't have the equivalent feats (nor the benefits).
It must be a bug that assumes that I turned down OoM's offer after I spoke to it (once) about becoming the warlock. Now it just keeps saying "I have no pretty words" everytime I speak to it.
Now I have to dig into the global variables and see if any line was messed up.

Aha, it worked. I changed my influence with OoM from 100 to 51, gained the feat, and then from 51 back to 100, gained the greater version of the feat.
It happens to be that I must accept the "negative aura" when my influence is 51-74, before accepting the "greater negative aura". I can't get both at once.
Now I have 23 regeneration per round... with equipment. Enough to completely heal me in 10 rounds.
