Hi Guys,
Is it viable to train strength to have damage more than +100? Or the "strike" bug affects +damage (and parry) as well?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that strength/damage suffers from the same bug that bites dexterity/strike, at least I've never read about it. I don't think I've ever had an attribute over 100 though.

I've had the strike bug, and briefly even had a bargain bug (where my bargaining ability seemed to reset to 0), but everything else still works fine.

it is possible to get melee dmg greater than 100 but the time it would take to acheive this would be insane as i have used the editor and with a Demonblade of Charrus and 355 strength i was hitting 127 max average about 90, i have multiple legit casters (i did use the economy bug though) and they can hit 100's with blast nova and 355 per tick of cataclysm the stats were 80+ intelect 20+ arcane magic and 10+ spell fire. i have also used a legit warwitch and they do about 20points less dmg but even on hard you can kill most anything 1hko with blast nova and the leech life keeps you 100% health

If that is true, then shouldn't the other stats work likewise? I never see, for example, an increase in enemies' strength as I increase my character's strength. For that matter, I've never noticed an increase in enemies' vitality. Certainly not to the extent that reflects a commiserative advance in vitality; I get one-hit kills on most standard enemies with my current character (not "critical strikes", although he has that ability) - so where is their increase in vitality?
I know that, in regard to the stats on the bottom of the character page, the left side is your character's stats, and the right side is the modified stats (after all trinkets, rings, weapons and armor bonuses are figured in) - perhaps the top column reflects that there was a plan to have modified attributes, but it never happened.

Vitality... game character/enemy. Therefore, the higher your vitality, the tougher an opponent is.
I don't believe this is correct, George. As far as I know the only information you have about vitality of your oponent is a) how much damage you did with a hit, and b) how much vitality left with regards to start. ..and this information ONLY when a hit is made.
As for the (C)haracter screen--the only information on there pertains to YOUR character and it's natural/adjusted attributes/stats/skills.
In experimenting, I hex edited the stats and with the following values, I didn't have to pound on an enemy all day long;
vitality 10000/1
life 20020/20020
The right side of vitality will very slowly go up during game play, but I never intentionaly increased it. I found that once it goes over 20, enemies are much tougher.
